As one of the most requested services, tooth whitening
can be incredibly effective in brightening your smile.
Because so many different whitening methods
and materials are available, you need good advice to determine
which method is most appropriate for you:
- Over-the-counter products
- Professionally supervised at-home whitening
- In-office, professional “power” whitening
We continually search for new products and innovations, and we will identify the best solution for your specific needs.
If you have had the misfortune of losing teeth, we have good news! Dental implants have revolutionized the replacement of missing teeth. Implants can replace:
- Single teeth
- Groups of teeth
- Entire sets of teeth
We have performed implant restorations for nearly 20 years and the effects are truly life-changing. The end result is the next best thing to having your own teeth.
There are situations where conventional bridges or dentures are appropriate to replace teeth. Our thorough evaluation will help us determine how best to proceed with your treatment.
For over 13 years, we have placed only mercury-free, tooth-colored fillings. Materials and techniques have evolved to make the newer fillings durable and predictable. Though silver-metallic fillings are still used by many dentists, our practice has decided to limit environmental exposure to the material. And, we have found that our patients prefer the more natural look of the tooth-colored fillings.
Re-enameling with Bonding or Veneers
This conservative procedure can beautifully solve severe discolorations, unevenness and minor crowding. Re-enameled teeth look just like your natural teeth, giving you your most confident smile.
New techniques and materials allow us to eliminate the dark gumline that shows around old crowns. These new ceramic crowns can also strengthen and reinforce weak front teeth.
Cerec® Same-day Crowns
This truly amazing technology allows us to computer design and fabricate tooth-colored ceramic restorations in a single visit. We now have the capability to reinforce weak, cracked, or broken teeth or teeth with large deteriorating fillings while removing far less healthy tooth structure than with conventional crowns. Also, there is no need for impressions or temporary crowns. The newest generation of computer software and robotic milling hardware make CEREC® a state-of-the art restoration, and our experience suggests that there is less potential for sensitivity after these restorations are bonded. Because we are only replacing tooth structure that is weak or broken, a lot of healthy tooth structure remains. This is very important so that we have restorative options down the road as we all live longer, healthier lives. Natural-looking CEREC® restorations are now the treatment of choice for most large filling replacements and broken teeth.
